The Light Gauge Rolled Products division of Metal Exchange is a leading distributor of aluminum coil, foil and sheet products, serving the North American Automotive, Building/Flex products, and HVAC markets. We are looking to add an engaged and enthusiastic individual, motivated by fast-track opportunities for growth as an Customer Service Coordinator with aspirations to develop their professional career. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage sales contracts, purchase contracts, and purchase orders with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage quotes for processing or entering conversion orders.
  • Support the Outside Sales team and provide customers with accurate and timely weekly status reports on their orders.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage and expedite mill release and shipment schedules to meet customer demands and engage with Logistics & Import Coordinators to optimize delivery times.
  • Invoice shipment promptly and accurately.
  • Manage and report inventory levels to ensure product availability and order fulfillment.
  • Reconcile inventory monthly, to ensure accuracy with internal systems. Coordinate with accounting to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Verify accuracy of storage and handling invoices.
  • Review and resolve invoice inaccuracies.
  • Address incoming queries from customers over the phone, and/or through emails. Providing exceptional service and support.
  • Offer productive solutions to customers to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of product lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
  • Communicate customer feedback to relevant departments to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and consistently increase customer satisfaction as the face of Metal Exchange.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experience in customer service, sales support, or a related field.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
